The Sound Of Refugees
The out-of-the-ordinary musical scene born within the 50.000 people Mberra camp, in the 48° hot desert at the border with Mali. Despite the harsh living conditions of people fleeing multiple conflicts and the rise of terrorism, a bunch of Arab and Tuareg musicians-refugees started to make music together. A unique musical style is born, a mixture of antique tunes, blues and improvisation. The sound of the desert, a sound of hope.
